Sessions and Fees
At Tender Studio Psychology, our fees are $220 per session. If you are eligible for a referral from your GP, you are able to obtain a Medicare rebate of $96.65, making your out of pocket cost $123.35.​
As of 1st July 2024, the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) recommended fee for Psychological Therapy is $315 per 50 minute session. To ensure accessibility to good quality and affordable health services for individuals requiring psychological services, Tender Studio's fees for Psychological Therapy are notably lower than the APS’s recommendations to accommodate for a greater range of individuals in need of services.
We also accept NDIS self-managed and plan-managed clients, with sessions charged at $222.99 as per NDIS guidelines.
Tender Studio is able to automatically take payments during your appointment so that you can focus your entire appointment on treatment. Credit card details will be requested from you at the time of making your first appointment. These details are securely stored in our practice management software, Halaxy.
ENSURING YOUR PRIVACY
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is important in providing you with psychological treatment and will be discussed early on in your sessions. Other than the specific limits of confidentiality (such as if you indicate that you or someone else is at significant risk of harm), all personal information gathered by the psychologist during the provision of the psychological service will remain confidential.​

We will seek your consent before we share information with any other health services, community agencies, family members and/or friends. Your personal information will not be used, sold, rented or disclosed for any other purpose.

CHANGE OF PLANS?
Cancellations
​​​If you need to cancel your appointment, please email hello@tenderstudiopsychology.com.au. We ask that you provide two business days notice for cancellation of an appointment to avoid paying a fee.

Cancellations made less than two business days before your appointment time are charged at half of the session fee. Cancellations made one business day or less of the appointment time, or if you fail to attend your appointment, will be charged at the full session fee.​

Cancellation fees are charged to ensure Tender Studio Psychology can continue to operate as a small business.
